Hacker Pschorr Hefe Weissbier is made with 60% Wheat malt and 40% Barley malt and is produced using top fermenting yeast before maturing. It is an unfiltered beer to guarantee its quality. The wheat for the beer is actually grown in champagne while the Siegel hops are sourced in the Hallertau region of Munich. Hacker Pschorr Hefe Weissbier is brewed in accordance to the German Purity Law. The yeast stays in the bottle to create a haze, through its golden yellow colour and crowned creamy head. Fruity and citrus notes accompany yeast in the aroma and there is a tangy acidity on the palate. The tongue picks up banana and honey from the malts with the hops balancing with slight bitterness.
